The applicant must have a disabling condition coming within the categories
above and must live in the county of Gloucestershire.

Proof of being in receipt of a statutory disability benefit
e.g. Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Attendance Allowance (AA)
or Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is required.
A photocopy will be accepted.

Your application should be supported on our application form
or by letter by a health or social care worker or other independent person
qualified to comment on your circumstances and need. 

Savings up to £6,000 will normally be disregarded.
The applicant must be in genuine need of the help requested
and unable to afford the item/help/service.      

The applicant must not have received a grant from GAD
in the previous twelve months. 
(This may be waived at the discretion of the Trustees.) 


Applications from bona fide charitable groups or organisations
must indicate how the grant would enhance the quality of life of the people
with whom they are working.
